Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at joerugar@gmail.com or by Phone: 508.723.6175,

if you cannot find an answer to your question.

We offer local moving, long-distance moving, commercial moving, packing services, and more. We also handle commercial moves, apartments, single‑family homes, condos, townhouses, storage units, and everything in between. Whether it’s a small move or a full household relocation, we’ve got you covered.

We provide moving services throughout Boston, Worcester, and all of Massachusetts — as well as Connecticut, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. We primarily serve the New England region, but we also accommodate select long‑distance moves.

In most cases, yes. If we have availability, we can accommodate same‑day or urgent moves. Call or message us to check availability.

Absolutely. Our team is trained to move heavy and specialty items including gun safes, home safes, upright pianos, and bulky furniture. Just let us know ahead of time so we can bring the right equipment.

Yes — we work with all types of portable storage containers and storage units. We can load, unload, and help coordinate so everything goes smoothly. Our team knows how to position items properly, maximize space, and make the process as easy as possible. Just let us know what you’re planning, and we’ll help you figure out the best way to handle it.

Some cities — especially Boston — require temporary parking permits. These permits reserve space on the street so your movers can park legally and safely. If you’re moving in Boston, Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, or other high‑traffic areas, you may need one. We can guide you on whether a permit is required and help you understand how to get it.

If your building has a service elevator or requires elevator reservations, we strongly recommend booking it in advance. Reserving the elevator prevents delays, keeps the move running smoothly, and helps you avoid extra time charges. Many apartment buildings in Boston, Worcester, and MetroWest require elevator reservations for moves — some even require scheduling with the front desk or management office. If you’re not sure whether your building requires it, check with your property manager or leasing office. Reserving the elevator ensures our team can work efficiently and saves you money.

The cost of a move varies and depends on many factors, including the distance, size of the move, and the services you need. Since every move is different, there isn’t a one‑price‑fits‑all number we can list on the site. We focus on quality, care, and doing the job right — while keeping our pricing fair and reasonable. We don’t overcharge or surprise you with unnecessary fees. Contact us for a free quote, and we’ll help you find the best options for your move.

We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, checks, and even Venmo. If you have questions about payment options, just let us know — we’ll help you use whatever works best for your move.

As early as you can, especially during busy the season, which usually runs from mid-spring through early winter. But if you’re in a pinch, reach out — we’ll do our best to fit you in.

Yes, we are fully licensed and insured to protect your belongings during the move.
